Mineola celebrates Halloween with annual community party

Children and families gathered at Mineola Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 31, for the Village of Mineola’s annual Halloween party, an afternoon of festive activities, costumes and entertainment. The event, held from noon to 3 p.m., welcomed young residents and their families for an afternoon of Halloween-themed fun. Children arrived dressed as ghosts, goblins, witches, superheroes and other costumed characters to celebrate the holiday with friends and neighbors. One of the afternoon’s highlights was the costume parade, which took place at 1:30 p.m. and gave children an opportunity to show off their Halloween costumes.
